My adventures & varied training have led me to where I am today, teaching and practising yoga daily to enrich my life and hopefully yours too. I am heavily influenced by Ana Forrest and Sandra Sabatini. They have completely different approaches to yoga but I have brought aspects of both to my own Open Yoga practice and teaching. I began my massage training having been a counsellor for some years. I worked both privately and in the public sector. My training at Stockport College and Manchester Metropolitan University gave me a huge understanding into human behaviour. Then the day came when I realised I needed to step back and approach things from a different perspective.
The Northern Institute of Massage was where my education began into all things body-wise. I completed their Remedial Massage training and to this day still work with those same amazing learnings in my therapy room from my home. I went on to do a Sports Massage and provided treatments to various footballers. I quickly came to the decision that I much preferred working on my elderly or injured people who really valued having their body treated in a compassionate and healing way.
